Leora Elizabeth Overholser, 90, Elkhart, formerly of Goshen and Sebring, Florida, died 5:38 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Hubbard Hill Estates.
She was born Feb. 25, 1927, in Goshen, to Orley H. & Katie C. (Elliott) Ogle.
She married Willard Ray Overholser Aug. 6, 1949, in Goshen; he died April 22, 2013.
Surviving are a son, Dennis (Cynthia) Overholser, Bristol; daughter, Diana (Richard) Miller, Goshen; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Richard Ogle, Florida, and Kathryn Ulery, Goshen.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband and three siblings.
Leora graduated from Goshen High School and worked as a cafeteria manager at the former Harrison Township School. She was a member of Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren where she was active in Willing Hands.
Leora had a passion for her family, cooking, entertaining and painting. She enjoyed wintering in Florida.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at the Hubbard Hill Chapel, 28070 CR 24, Elkhart. Chaplain Dave Severance will officiate.
Burial will follow at Yellow Creek Cemetery.
