Katie Schrock, 82, of Goshen, died at 6:05 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017 at Goshen Health Hospital after a one week stay.
She was born Sept. 28, 1935, in Haven, Kansas to John R. and Anna D. (Yoder) Knepp. On Nov. 25, 1999 in Shipshewana she married Noah Schrock; he died June 12, 2004.
Surviving are four stepsons, Olan (Orpha) Schrock, Merle (Ruby) Schrock both of Millersburg, Gilbert (Edith) Schrock of New Paris, Lester (Trisa) Schrock of Goshen; four stepdaughters, Waneta (Crist) Gingerich of Wawaka, LeEtta (Howard) Hochstetler of Goshen, Marlene (Jacob) Yoder of Goshen, Pauline Schrock of Goshen; 42 stepgrandchildren; 64 step great-grandchildren; two sisters, Cora (John) Helmuth of Nappanee, Clara Yoder of IA; brother, John (Elizabeth) Knepp of Shipshewana; two sister-in-laws, Ella Knepp of LaGrange, Katie Knepp of Topeka; a brother-in-law, Owen Farmwald of Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Susan Yoder and Anna Mae Farmwald, five brothers, Enos, Crist, Leroy, William and Daniel Knepp.
Katie was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19 and all day Monday, Nov. 20, at the Vernon Fry residence, 11070 C.R. 36 Goshen. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at the same residence.
Services will be conducted by Bishop Perry Wingard Jr. and the home ministers. Burial will be in Southeast Clinton Cemetery, Goshen.
Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury is in charge of arrangements.
