Kathryn gave of her time in the Elkhart schools helping children learn to read. She served as a volunteer for God's Eye Art and valued her friendship with the artist Chad Friesen.
Kathryn loved flowers, and they loved her back. She grew beautiful flowers. Kathryn also loved people, and they loved her back. She grew beautiful friendships over the many years of her life.
