Janet Ruth Ratcliff, 83, died Sunday, Jan. 14, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing.
She was born Nov. 27, 1934, in New Boston, Ohio, to Fred and Gladys (Upton) Crabtree.
On Feb. 15, 1952 she married Phillip H. Ratcliff in Greenup, Kentucky. He died Feb. 13, 2002.
Survivors include four children, Linda (Donald) Morrison, Fred (Cathy) Ratcliff, David (Lynn) Ratcliff and Danny Ratcliff, all of Goshen; granddaughter and caretaker, Angela (Fred) Ratcliff, Goshen; 16 other grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ronnie Crabtree, Portsmouth, Ohio.
Along with her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by sons, Mike and twins, Roger and Robert Ratcliff; a sister, Christine Spurlock; and brothers, Leonard, Rodney and Clarence Crabtree.
A homemaker, Mrs. Ratcliff enjoyed singing and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Friends may call Wednesday, Jan. 17, from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, funeral service will be conducted.
Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.
