Gwendolyn Geraldine (Shelestowky) Watson, 82, Goshen, formerly of Warsaw and Fort Wayne, died at 3:10 a.m. Thursday, March 1, at Goshen Hospital.
She was born Aug. 19, 1935, in Toronto, Ontario, to Josep and Theodosia Faye (Mumcher) Shelestowky.
She married Frank Everett Watson Aug. 20, 1955, in New Market, Ontario. He died Feb. 5, 2016.
Surviving are a son, Buckley Frank (Laura) Watson, Goshen; daughter, Cynthia Studebaker, Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Bethany, Elizabeth, Kristina, Jason, Amanda; great-grandchildren, Cesar, Alex, Taylor, Mardi, Aryanna, Justice; and great-great-granddaughter, Evaliyah Lynn.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Frank; grandson, Joshua Watson; and nine siblings.
Gwendolyn worked with her husband, Frank, for their family construction company, Surlock Homes. She was a member of the Abundant Life Assembly of God, Warsaw. and was an artist and avid gardener.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, March 5, and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. service Tuesday, March 6, all at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. The Rev. Brenda Sawatzky Paetkau of Eighth Street Mennonite Church will officiate.
Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
