Gwen Nunemaker, 63, Goshen, died at 2:30 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2018 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis.
She was born May 16, 1954 in Bremen to Richard D. "Kossie" and Bessie June (Wilson) Wenger.
She married Bob Nunemaker Oct. 6, 1973.
Surviving are her husband, Bob, Goshen; daughters, Stacy (Milt) Glick, Wakarusa, Brooke (Mike Dabbert) Martin, Wakarusa, Tina (Josh) Cooper, Goshen and Amber Landis, Goshen; a son, Robert Nunemaker Jr., Goshen; her mother, Bessie Wenger, Wakarusa; a brother, Daniel Wenger, Wakarusa and 13 grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her father, daughter Christy Nunemaker, grandchild Christian Comadoll and sister, Linda Lou Wagoner.
Gwen was a homemaker and worked for 15 years at Oaklawn in the kitchen. She was a member of the Holdeman Mennonite Church, where she was a Bible Memory leader. Gwen was a Mini 4-H Leader for more than 30 years and volunteered at the Depot. She loved cooking and putting puzzles together.
Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2018 at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, 117 W. Waterford St., Wakarusa, and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. service Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Holdeman Mennonite Church, 65723 C.R. 1, Wakarusa. Pastor Randy Detweiler and Pastor BJ Leichty will officiate. Burial will follow at Olive (East) Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Holdeman Mennonite Church.
