Mrs. Gloria D Neff, 83, Rolling Prairie, passed away Wednesday Feb. 28, at her home.
She was born March 19, 1934, in Elkhart, the daughter of Howard Parcell and Edna (Pletcher) Parcell.
Gloria retired in 1995 as the director of food service at New Prairie School Corp. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Rolling Prairie. She was a 1952 graduate of Wakarusa High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, gardening and yard work.
In Elkhart, June 12, 1953, she married Gene Neff, who survives.
She is also survived by her three sons, Tim Neff and James (Kathy) Neff, both of La Porte, Ted (Cheryl) Neff, Granger; daughter, Gena Oake, Buchanan, Michigan; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donald (Nancy) Parcell and Thomas (Marcia) Parcell, both of Wakarusa.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren, Brock Neff and Jenna Neff.
Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, where the family will receive friends Saturday, March 3, 3-7 p.m. and Sunday, March 4, 1-2 p.m.
A life celebration will take place at Haverstock Funeral Home Inc., Sunday, March 4, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James Fisher officiating.
