Eleanor "Ellie"'s Story
Eleanor "Ellie" Graff, 90, Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Syracuse, Indiana, passed away Oct. 8, in Mesa.
She was born Jan. 18, 1927, in Syracuse, to Louis and Elnora (Ward) Miller.
On May 15, 1947, she married Wayne Blakesley, who passed away in 1959.
On Oct. 27, 1972, she married Everett Graff. He died in 1987.
She was a Syracuse resident for 52 years. She was the receptionist and secretary for Dr. Clark in Syracuse for 32 years. After retirement she moved to Scottsdale, in 2003, where she lived out the remainder of her life.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews as well as her extended family and friends.
Services will be Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 2 p.m. at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor Brad Cox officiating. Calling will be two hours prior to the service from noon until 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Syracuse Cemetery.
