Edward E. Eyer, 87, Goshen, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, at Courtyard Health Care.
He was born Feb. 20, 1930, and married Phyllis Hower in 1955.
He was a member of the Goshen Iron Horseman, served in the United States Army during the Korean War and is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He retired from Goshen Rubber Company after 44 years and lived in Mulberry, Florida, for 17 years before returning to Goshen.
Deceased are his parents, Roy and Hilda (Kring) Eyer, and brothers, Robert and Richard Eyer.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; a brother, Thomas (Rose), Bryan, Ohio; a daughter, Karen (David) Wolber, Goshen; two sons, Scot (Lavinnia), Goshen, and Bryan, South Bend; and grandchildren, Stephanie (Andrew) Stankovich, Bristol, and Nicholas, Goshen.
A private burial will take place at a later date at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.

Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, is assisting the family with arrangements.
