Edna C. Bontrager, 74, LaGrange, died at 3:45 a.m. Monday, June 12, at Life Care Center, LaGrange.
She was born Dec. 29, 1942, in LaGrange County, to Clarence and Emma (Miller) Yoder.
On Feb. 13, 1964, at Emma Mennonite Church, she married Levi E. Bontrager. He passed away Sept. 2, 2006.
Surviving are a sister, Sarah (John) Schlabach, Topeka , and a brother, Wayne (Naomi) Yoder, Middlebury.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, Lloyd Yoder.
Edna was a homemaker and a part-time house cleaner. She was a former member of Plato Mennonite Church.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main St., Middlebury. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service Thursday, June 15, also at the funeral home. Services will be conducted by Pastor Mark Suever.
Burial will be at Miller Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorial contributions may be given to the LaGrange County Food and Clothes Basket.
