Dwight W. Roush, 93, Elkhart, died at 11:40 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, at the Center for Hospice Care, Elkhart.
He was born Nov. 8, 1923, in Elkhart, to Henry G. and Madge (Love) Roush.
He married Virginia Nadiene (Schuttler) Roush Jan. 26, 1946. She passed away Feb. 3.
Surviving are a son, Marvin (Judy) Roush, Elkhart; grandchildren, Trent (Jenny) Roush and Heather (Dave) Brunswick, both of Goshen; and great-grandchildren, Gavin, Garrett, Alexandra, Justin, Troy and Andrew.
Preceding him in death are his parents; wife; son, Allen Roush; and brother, Melvin Roush.
Dwight served in World War II with the Army Air Corps and was discharged March 10, 1945.
He was a farmer and a Concord school bus driver for 40 years. Dwight was a member of Elkhart Valley Church of the Brethren.
He enjoyed snowmobiling in Michigan, fishing in Minnesota and camping and traveling out West. Dwight and Virginia also traveled to Florida during the winter.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen, and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. service Friday, Oct. 27, at Elkhart Valley Church of the Brethren, 24955 C.R. 24, Elkhart. Pastor Mike Martin will officiate.
Burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart.
