Dora Z. Espinoza, 87, Milford, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare.
She was born June 5, 1930, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
On April 2, 1955, she married Jose Espinoza in Brownsville, Texas. He died Feb. 9, 1985.
Survivors include 10 children, Henry (Margarita) Espinosa, Tippecanoe, Reyna (Joe Stevens) Garcia, Goshen, Art (Raquel) Espinosa, Goshen, Roy (Becky) Espinosa, Nappanee, Armando (Rocio) Espinosa, Goshen, Catalina (Steve) Brovont and Edward (Jenny) Espinosa, both of Elkhart, Irma (Brian) Hiesch, Mishawaka, David (Sarah Thurston) Espinosa and Roselinda Espinoza, Indianapolis; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Josefina Garcia Alvarado, Cancun, Mexico; and a brother in California.
A homemaker and very active member of St. John's, Dora enjoyed helping others who were in need and will be remembered as a caregiver.
Friends may call Thursday, Dec. 21, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, where a 4 p.m. Rosary will be recited. A 10 a.m. funeral service will take place Friday, Dec. 22, at the funeral home with Deacon Dave Elchert officiating.
Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
