Delores J. Troyer, 86, Goshen, formerly of Middlebury, died at 2:54 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at Courtyard of Goshen.
She was born Jan. 29, 1931, in Middlebury, to Ed and Maggie (Berkey) Nihart.
On Sept. 17, 1948, in Middlebury, she married John H. Troyer. He died Aug. 26, 1995.
Surviving are two daughters, Rhonda (Lamar) Stutzman, Nappanee, Rosalie Kern, Middlebury; son, Ronald L. (Loraine) Troyer, Middlebury; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Herb (Betty) Nihart, White Pigeon, Michigan; and three sisters-in-law, Arlene Brown, Elkhart, Mary Nihart, White Pigeon, Michigan, and Mary Jane Troyer, Honey Brook, Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, Jay and Cal Nihart; and a grandson, Andrew John Troyer.
Dolores was a lifelong member of Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren. She worked at Crystal Valley Catering for more than 20 years. She was a seamstress, candy maker and enjoyed going on fishing trips with her husband to Wisconsin and Canada. She also enjoyed playing cards.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service Friday, Nov. 10 at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main St., Middlebury.
Services will be conducted by Pastor Danny Griffin.
Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury.
Memorials may be given to Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
