I can credit Mr. Sewell with many years of safe driving, thanks to his observant and very tactful coaching. His legacy is multiple generations of safer, better-informed drivers and countless accidents prevented. Thank you Mr. Sewell.

Dennis and Lee were good friends of ours and we loved both of them. Their family was special to us. Dennis and I would take long walks in the beautiful shoreline at Myrtle Beach. I always looked forward to the walks as we covered all things important in the world and solved none. God's speed Dennis, you fought the good fight. Lee, you are in our prayers.

Sending my condolences to the family of Mr. Sewell, my former Driver's Ed teacher. There are soooo many times when I'm driving that I have flashbacks to important things I learned from him when I was 15! Please know how much I valued his contribution to Westview Schools and how much I still remember from him at the age of 61! :)

Mr. Sewell impacted my life at Westview as a 7th Grade Science student. I remember vividly the circuits experiments we did with handmade batteries and motors. Also, his influence as a cross country and basketball coach was exceptional. The founding lessons learned from him still impact my approach to working on teams and passion for basketball. I have thought of him in the past few months as this is the 40th year since graduation from high school.
