Dennis E. Miller, 84, LaGrange, died peacefully at his home at 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13.
He was born Feb. 9, 1933, in Elkhart County, to David and Mollie (Miller) Miller.
On Oct. 11, 1962, in Milford, he married Barbara Mast, who survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, LaVern (Mary) Miller, LaGrange, and Wilbur (Ruby) Miller, Goshen; daughter, Esther (Maynard) Miller, Shipshewana; 16 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; a great-grandchild, two stepgreat-grandchildren; brother, Levi (Ida) Miller, Shipshewana; and sister-in-law, Ida Miller, Shipshewana.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter-in-law, Loretta Miller; two grandchildren, Mark Alan and Marla Ann Miller; three brothers, Chris, Elmer and Lester Miller.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, and all day Wednesday, Nov. 15, at the family residence, 1480 S. 300 West, LaGrange. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, also at the family residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Richard Bontrager and the home ministers.
Burial will be at Beechy Cemetery, LaGrange.
