D. Paul Miller D. Paul Miller, 101, Normal, Illinois, passed away Nov. 3, at Westminster Village.
His memorial service will take place at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Normal Mennonite Church. Visitation will be for one hour prior to services.
Kibler Brady Ruestman Funeral Home is assisting his family with arrangements.
He was born Aug. 30, 1917, in Protection, Kansas, to David and Maggie Miller.
He married Anna Wiebe Aug. 14,1948.
Survivors include his daughter, Brenda McCasland; two sons, Richard and Donald; six grandchildren, Darrick, Nara, Brian, Christopher, Shanna and Michelle; and two great-grandchildren, Layla and Miles.
D. Paul pursued many interests in life. He rose out of the Dust Bowl as a Mennonite conscientious objector, Ph.D, IWU professor, mountain climber, gardener, clock repairman, author and athlete, who loved the woods and, most of all, people. He will be missed by many.
Memorials may be donated to the Normal Mennonite Church or Camp Friedenswald.

D. Paul had such a wonderful, hearty laugh!!! I am sure his laugh lightened the load for many people that he came in contact with! A wonderful Miller laugh!!!
