Connor McBride, 24, Avon, died unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 15.
He was born July 29, 1993, to Brenda Fox and Darren McBride, the oldest of three children.
Connor grew up in Nappanee, where he graduated from NorthWood High School. It was in high school where he began dating the love of his life.
After high school, he attended Purdue College of Technology where he obtained a degree in electrical engineering.
On June 7, 2014, Connor and Karissa were married. After graduating from college, Connor accepted an engineering job at Cornerstone Controls in Indianapolis, and that is where he resided.
On April 29, 2016, Connor welcomed his baby girl into the world and was the most amazing father to her.
Connor is survived by so many people that loved him dearly: his wife, Karissa McBride; daughter, Coraline McBride, Avon; father, Darren McBride, Nappanee; mother, Brenda (Steve) Fox, Rochester; sister, Megan; brother, Griffin; maternal grandparents, Kathy and Steve Oswalt, Tippecanoe; paternal grandparents, Terry (Linda) McBride, Fort Wayne, and Rosemary (Gene) Robinson, Punta Gorda, Florida; nephews, Brody, Kegan and Lucas; niece, Brooklynn; and aunts and uncles.
Family and friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. A celebration of life service will follow at 4 p.m., also at the funeral home. Pastor Lenny Krebs will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Connor McBride Memorial Fund for his daughter.
