Clifford C. Wieland Clifford C. Wieland, 86, died Tuesday, Feb. 19 at Green House Village of Goshen.
He was born Feb. 17, 1933, in Bay City, Michigan, to Matthew and Lydia (Maibach) Wieland.
On July 23, 1961, he married Carol Broquard in Fairbury, Illinois.
She survives along with three children, Karmin (Dwayne) Yonts, Goshen, Kip (Tanya) Wieland, Bristol, and Mindy (Tim) Wilkin, Chicago; seven grandchildren, Caroline and Ben Yonts, Macauley, Odessa and Micah Wieland, and Elias and Rachael Wilkin; two brothers, Roy Wieland, Fort Wayne, and Daryle (Edith) Wieland, Midland, Michigan; and sister-in-law, Arlene Wieland, Pompano Beach, Florida.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Wieland.
Mr. Wieland has been the owner and operator of Wieland Designs, Goshen, since 1976.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 27, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Maple City Chapel, Goshen, where an 11 a.m. memorial service will be conducted Thursday. The Rev. Mel Shetler will officiate.
Private family burial at Violett Cemetery, Goshen, will precede the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Jesus Film (865 group), Goshen Interfaith Hospitality Network and Time to Revive.

I literally just found out about Cliff's passing. I am so sorry to hear this as Cliff was such a vibrant force of nature. All of the family remain in my prayers.

My van company in Iowa purchased seating from Wieland in the 1980's and was always fascinated with Cliff's freehand sketching and design abilities. Cliff had prostate cancer about the same time as myself so we were closer as a result.
So sorry to hear of his passing. A very warm person.

Many happy memories of working at Wieland Designs. Cliff made me feel welcome from my very first day and i enjoyed every conversation i had with him. He was such a nice man who truly cared about people. My heart goes out to the family.
