Charles Robert Oswald, born Kim Lee Lytell, of 3407 E. Pontiac St., Fort Wayne, made his transition from this life in his home on the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 27.
He was proceeded in death by biological parents Paul (Barny) and Donna Lytell; adoptive parents John and Mary Oswald; and his son, Joseph Oswald.
He was loved and survived by many who knew him to be a kindhearted, loving, cynically funny, husband, companion, father, grandfather and brother.
He enjoyed his family, his dogs and his cars which lead him into a vocation of automobile mechanics.
He attended Warsaw High School, and lived in the vicinity until relocating to Fort Wayne in the early 1990s.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Moore; her two children, Melissa and David; and her five grandchildren; his oldest son, John (Amber) Oswald, Pierceton, and their two children; his sisters Dvorah Olowecki-Oswald (Deb Oswald), Milford, and Betty Bethea (Pamela Mae Lytell), Fayetteville, North Carolina; and brothers, Paul and Larson Sailor, and Stanley Strater.
He was loved and will be missed by those he left behind.
