Charlene K. Ramer, 59, Nappanee, died at 12:38 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at her residence, after a short illness.
She was born Feb. 21, 1958, in Wakarusa, to Lowell and Doris (Martin) Weaver.
On March 12, 1977, she married Marvin L. Ramer in Goshen.
Mrs. Ramer was a lifetime area resident. She was a homemaker and a member of the Yellow Creek Wisler Mennonite Church.
Mrs. Ramer is survived by her husband, Marvin; children, Marvin Jay (Esther) Ramer Jr., Sauk Centre, Minnesota, Andrew (Stephanie) Ramer, New Paris, Marilyn (Conrad) Martin, Millersburg, Rhoda Ramer and Kathleen Ramer, both of Nappanee, Susan (Eldon) Heatwole, Bremen, Devon (Laura) Ramer, Milford, Allen (Lisa) Ramer, New Paris, Kevin (Susannah) Ramer, Nappanee, Lorene (Brendan) Zimmerman, Akron, Arlin (Alyssa) Ramer, Goshen, Mark (Kayla) Ramer, New Paris, and Linda Ramer, Nappanee; 48 grandchildren; mother, Doris Weaver, Goshen; sisters, Elaine (Harlan) Zimmerman, Akron, and Mary Jane Weaver, Goshen; and brothers, Steven (Sheryl) Weaver, Goshen, and Glenn (Ruth Ann) Weaver, Wakarusa.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Weaver, Dec. 20, 2017.
Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8, Sunday, Jan. 7, and Monday, Jan. 8, at Harrison Christian School.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, at Yellow Creek Wisler Mennonite Church. Officiating will be the home conference ministry.
Burial will be at Yellow Creek Wisler Mennonite Church Cemetery.
