Betty B. Jack, 88, passed away Sunday, Sept. 24, at Warsaw Meadows Care Center.
She was born March 10, 1929, in Xenia, Ohio, to Cecil and Cora (Saunders) Baxter.
On July 23, 1949, she married James Jack, who preceded her in death Dec. 30, 1975.
She was a member of the VFW, American Legion and Eagles Lodge, all of Syracuse.
Betty is survived by four children, Dianna (Robert) Bauwens, Elkhart, James (Pamela) Jack, Leesburg, Cheryl (Duane) Stump, Nappanee, and Deborah (Daniel) Armbruster, Syracuse. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Marguerite Wolf, Xenia, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Linda; and brother, Richard Baxter.
Services will take place Saturday, Sept. 30, at 2 p.m. at Eastlund Funeral Home with Pastor Pat Parks officiating. Calling will be two hours prior from noon until 2 p.m.
There will also be visitation Monday, Oct. 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. at McColaugh Funeral Home, Xenia, Ohio. Services will take place Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 10 a.m. at McColaugh Funeral Home with burial following at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
