Arlene G. Hoover, 90, died Wednesday at Courtyard Healthcare.
She was born Jan. 28, 1927, in Beaver Crossing, Nebraska, to Ezra and Flony (Eicher) Roth.
On Nov. 22, 1945, she married Merlin Stutzman in Beaver Crossing. He died May 10, 1963.
On Aug. 11, 1979, she married Edwin Russell in South Bend. He died Jan. 7, 1991.
She then married Russell Hoover in Goshen April 17, 1999. He died Aug. 4, 2005.
Survivors include a daughter, Mavis (Steve) Miller, Goshen; a son, Gary (Rosemary) Stutzman, Lebanon, Oregon; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Jane Watson, Kearney, Nebraska.
Along with her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a brother, Merle Roth.
Arlene attended Harvest Community Church, Goshen. She worked as a nurse's aide at Goshen General Hospital and later as a greeter at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Friends may call Monday from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. The Rev. Terry Tyler will officiate.
Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
