So sad to hear about Alvin. He was always one of my favorite people and especially my son's too! My son loves the Cubs and I had gotten tickets for us to go on a bus trip to the Cubs, which included me, Austin & a buddy, and my dad A,mos. At the last minute I decided to give my ticket to Alvin. He told us it was his first time going to a professional baseball game, at the age of 82. When they got home that day, Alvin was sitting in the front passenger seat with the biggest smile. He said he had a great time & offered to pay for the ticket. I told him it was his reward for having to drive my butt back & forth to school and then he laughed. I feel lucky to have a very small piece of Alvi...n with me here in New Mexico; one of the footstools he made. Your dad will be greatly missed by many.

Keeping you covered in prayer,
