Albert H. Anderson


Albert H. Anderson, 72, Nappanee, died at 2:30 a.m. Monday, March 4, at his home of natural causes.
He was born Feb. 17, 1947, in Los Angeles, California, to Albert A. and Patricia (Boggio) Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was a graduate of El Monte High School. He was a proud Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Albert lived in Nappanee for more than 35 years and had worked at Fairmont Homes and Hart Housing. Albert loved his co-workers at Fairmont and loved his country. He worked with South Central Newfoundland Rescue. He had rescued and adopted three Newfoundlands.
Surviving are his companion of 31 years, Nancy Anderson; son, David (Melony) Anderson, Nappanee; grandchildren, Alexander and Gabriella Anderson, both of Nappanee; sister, Carol (Mike) Poisal, Pahrump, Nevada; and his best friend, Dale Amato, Nappanee.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Anderson.
Family and friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, March 7, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, March 8, also at the funeral home. Albert's nephew, Alan Liechty, will officiate.
Burial with military graveside rites will take place at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
