Aaron (AJ) Brovont, 69, Elkhart, passed away Sunday, July 23, at his home with family and hospice caretakers present.
He was born Aug. 24, 1947, in Goshen, to Howard and Dorothy (Casaday) Brovont.
On Aug. 27, 1965, he married Sandra (Moller) Brovont. She survives along with three children, Gayle Troup, Goshen, Howard, Michigan City, and Dean (Jamie) Brovont, Goshen.
He leaves two sisters, Mary Brovont and Trudy (Merv) Chupp, both of Goshen; and a brother, Harley (Carol) Brovont, Goshen.
He had seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Mr. Brovont was retired from Monaco Coach as well as his own business, Midwest Contracting.
AJ loved auto racing and was a big part of local tracks.
There will be a celebration of life service at 3 p.m. Aug. 27, at Adamsville Road Church of God Fellowship building, 51287 C.R. 7, Elkhart. Family and friends may call at 2 p.m.
